DeChambeau Crowned Best Player in Majors This Season

This year’s major winners include Scottie Scheffler (Masters), Xander Schauffele (PGA Championship), and Bryson DeChambeau (US Open). DeChambeau stands out with a combined score of 28-under par across the three majors, placing him ahead of Schauffele (23-under), Collin Morikawa (17-under), and Scheffler (16-under). DeChambeau finished tied for 6th at the Masters, 2nd at the PGA Championship, and won the US Open.

Among Korean players, Kim Joo-hyung ranked 17th with 2-over par, while Australian-Korean Min Woo Lee tied for 13th at even par, and Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama ranked 9th with 3-under par, the highest among Asian players.

DeChambeau aims to continue his winning streak at the 152nd British Open, held at Royal Troon in Scotland from July 18-21. Following his victory at the 124th US Open last month, where he narrowly beat Rory McIlroy, DeChambeau seeks back-to-back major wins.

The British Open will also feature competition between PGA Tour and LIV Golf players, with DeChambeau among the 16 LIV golfers vying for the Claret Jug. Notable LIV participants include past champions Henrik Stenson, Cameron Smith, Louis Oosthuizen, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, and others.

However, Sergio Garcia, Graeme McDowell, Branden Grace, Carlos Ortiz, and Peter Uihlein from LIV Golf failed to qualify through the 36-hole preliminaries. Garcia, with two British Open runner-ups in 2007 and 2014, misses out for the second consecutive year.먹튀검증커뮤니티
